The sleeve is the souvenir. Our design has the Arirang mark on one side, the group art in the middle, and the Sharetea Georgetown address printed on it, so the cup itself works as the keepsake once the drink is gone.

Every order gets four free gifts

Order anything on September 11 or 12, and here is what comes with your cup:

• A free BTS cupsleeve — the custom purple sleeve, printed for this event only

• A free BTS photocard — pulled from the set, so you do not know which one you get

• A free BTS sticker — six member designs in the sheet

• A free goodie bag — to carry the rest of it home in one piece

Limit is one set per order, and it runs while supplies last. That last part is not a marketing line. We printed a fixed number of sleeves and photocards, and when they are gone, they are gone. Come early in the day if you want the full set.

Where to find this bubble tea party in Georgetown, Texas

Two days, two different opening times. Friday, September 11 we open at 11am and close at 10pm. Saturday, September 12 we open at 10am and close at 10pm. The first two hours of each day are the calmest. Late afternoon, once Georgetown High and Southwestern University let out, is when the line builds.

Parking at Wolf Ranch Town Center is easier on the University Avenue side than near the anchor stores. If you are coming down I-35, take the University Ave exit and we are a couple of minutes west.

Bringing friends? Each person orders their own drink and each order gets its own set of gifts. That is also how people end up with doubles to trade, which is half the fun of a cupsleeve party anyway.

What bubble tea to order if you have never had it

Plenty of people come to a cupsleeve party for the photocard and end up with their first boba in hand. If that is you, a few pointers from behind the counter.

Sugar comes at 0%, 30%, 50%, 70%, or 100%. Most first-timers are happiest at 50%. Ice level is your call too, and less ice means a stronger drink, not a weaker one. Pearls are cooked in small batches through the day, so they stay chewy instead of turning stiff.

If you want the safest possible first drink, order a Classic Pearl Milk Tea at 50% sugar. If you want the drink that photographs best next to a purple sleeve, order a Taro Pearl Milk Tea. It comes out lavender.

Cafe

Our milk tea list is the backbone of the shop, and it is where most Georgetown bubble tea orders land. Classic Pearl Milk Tea is the one to start with. Honey Pearl Milk Tea swaps in honey for a rounder finish. Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea leans caramel. Thai Pearl Milk Tea is bold and a little spiced. Taro Pearl Milk Tea is the purple one. Coconut Pearl Milk Tea is creamy without being heavy, Mango Green Milk Tea is fruit and cream together, and Golden Retriever is the one people order because of the name and then reorder because of the taste.

If you would rather skip the milk entirely, our Fresh Brew side keeps it simple: Classic Tea and Honey Tea, brewed fresh through the day. Sharetea has been doing this for about thirty years, and the tea leaves and toppings still come from Taiwan.

Coffee shop

Georgetown has good coffee, and we are not trying to replace anybody's morning cup. What we do is the crossover. Coffee Creama is coffee and milk foam layered in the glass. Coffee Milk Tea w/ Coffee Jelly gives you the tea base with little cubes of coffee jelly that you chew as you go. Coffee w/ Ice Cream is blended cold with a scoop on top, and it lands closer to dessert than to a latte. Any of the three will keep you awake through a two-hour photo session.

Dessert shop

This is the ice-blended row, and it is where our bubble tea menu turns into a spoonable treat. Oreo w/ Pearl is the top seller here. Taro w/ Pudding pairs the purple root with soft egg pudding. Thai Tea w/ Pearl blends the spiced tea into a slush. Peach Tea w/ Lychee Jelly stays fruit-forward and light. Lava Flow is the showpiece, red fruit running down the inside of the cup.

Halo Halo is worth its own mention. It is the Filipino-inspired mix of jellies and beans and milk, and we serve it two ways: Halo Halo as a drink, or Halo Halo Ice Blended when you want it thick enough for a spoon.

Ice cream shop

Three bubble tea drinks on our menu come with real ice cream on top, and they are the ones kids point at through the glass. Coffee w/ Ice Cream is the grown-up pick. Mango w/ Ice Cream is the sweetest of the three. Strawberry w/ Lychee Jelly & Ice Cream is the one that sells out fastest on hot Saturdays, and September in Georgetown still counts as a hot Saturday.

Juice shop

Not everybody wants a creamy drink, and our fruity beverage list is the lighter side of the bubble tea menu. Mango Green Tea is the everyday order. Passion Chess is tart and bright. Berry Lychee Burst mixes berry with floral lychee. Peach Tea w/ Honey Jelly is soft and easy. Mango & Passion Fruit Tea brings both fruits together. Honey Lemonade is the one we hand to people walking over from San Gabriel Park or the Blue Hole on a warm afternoon.

Soft drinks shop

If caffeine is off the table, the whole non-caffeinated section is open to you. Tiger Boba is brown sugar and milk with no tea at all, and the syrup stripes running down the cup are the reason people photograph it before drinking it. Strawberry Coconut is our gentlest option and a good first bubble tea for a kid. Wintermelon Lemonade is sweet and tangy, Wintermelon Lemonade Ice Blended is the frozen version, and Wintermelon w/ Fresh Milk is mellow and almost caramel-like.

New Matcha Series

Our newest lineup is matcha, and it has been moving fast. Matcha Pearl Milk Tea is matcha and milk with pearls. Matcha Fresh Milk drops the tea base for straight fresh milk, so the matcha comes through cleaner than in a standard bubble tea. Strawberry Matcha Fresh Milk gives you the pink and green layers people love in photos. Mango Matcha Fresh Milk is the sweeter cousin. For a purple-themed cupsleeve party, the strawberry matcha in a clear cup next to a BTS sleeve is the shot people keep posting.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to buy a specific drink to get the free gifts? No. Any bubble tea on the menu counts, hot or cold, any size.

Can I get more than one photocard? One set per order. Order two drinks, get two sets.

What time should I get there? Earlier is better. We open at 11am on Friday and 10am on Saturday, and the afternoon rush is heavier than the morning.

Is there a cover charge or a ticket? No. Walk in and order.

Is this an official BTS event? No. It is a fan-organized cupsleeve party hosted by Sharetea Georgetown with Arirang. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by BIGHIT MUSIC or HYBE.

A regular came in a few weeks back, ordered her usual Classic Pearl Milk Tea, and asked if we had ever done a cupsleeve party. She had driven to Austin twice for one. Two hours round trip for a paper sleeve and a photocard. That question stuck with us, and it is the reason we are throwing a free BTS Cupsleeve Party at our bubble tea shop in Georgetown, Texas on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12.

You do not need a ticket. You do not need to RSVP. Order any bubble tea on the menu, and the gifts come with it.

We are running this one with Arirang, and the whole thing is fan-organized. It is a party put on by people who like the music, not an official event, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by BIGHIT MUSIC or HYBE.

What a cupsleeve party actually is

If you have never been to one, the name is a little confusing. A cupsleeve party is a fan event where a cafe wraps its drinks in a custom paper sleeve made for a specific artist or group. People show up, order a drink, take photos of the cup, trade the freebies, and hang around. That is the whole thing. It started in Korea and spread to bubble tea shops all over the United States.
